Uptown Business Club’s COVID-19 Response

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact daily life, our emphasis remains on the health and well-being of our members, guests and employees. Our highest priority is to help you continue to run your business in a safe environment.
Ensuring a safe working environment
We have made some changes to our business practices. We have implemented health and safety measures as recommended by Public Health Canada and have posted our guidelines in every room.
Enhanced Safety Measures
We have installed hand sanitizer stations at all entry points to the building and meeting rooms. We are providing 3’x2’ plexiglass barriers for meetings to add another layer of protection.
We have increased the frequency of cleaning during the day, focusing on high touchpoint areas, surface and workspace cleaning to meet public health and safety regulations. We have implemented posted records of the last time each room was cleaned in all private meeting rooms.
We have taken the principles of physical distancing and adapted them to our workplace. This includes how people move around our centres, with clear information, signage and protocols in place to ensure minimal person-to-person contact. We are employing physical distancing measures in our common area space by reducing the amount of seating available as well.
All staff are required to wear masks during client interactions and inside common areas. We ask our Members and guests to consider wearing masks in common areas as an act of kindness and a way to improve safety for all parties.
Private Meeting Rooms
In accordance with health and safety guidelines, we have established a meeting room safety protocol. This protocol encompasses the use of spaced seating to allow for physical distancing, and the use of plexiglass barriers to provide an added layer of protection for attendees.
Uptown has detailed health and safety guidelines on display in key areas throughout the building. These guidelines support and remind our members and customers how to conduct business in the safest possible manner.
Access to Uptown Meeting Space
Uptown is positioned very well to respond to these new health and safety requirements. Our private rooms allow us to adhere to the new rules mentioned above.
Video Conferencing: our meeting rooms are equipped with audiovisual equipment.
We have several different size private meeting rooms to permit you to conduct your meetings safely and efficiently. To help you meet social distancing requirements, we are offering larger rooms at the same rates as smaller rooms.
We have two private offices available for your exclusive use. Lease options are flexible.
Uptown Business Club has returned to normal operating hours.
